Closet Organization

Here are my best tips for organizing your closet (which will have a drastic effect on your emotional health!)

Matching Hangers

I know what you're thinking, "matching hangers, seriously? How will something so small and almost petty make an impact on my organization and stress levels?" Trust me, guys, matching hangers is a game changer. You can get faux velvet hangers for cheap at Walmart or Home Goods and it makes all the difference. Plus, the velvet is a great non-slip feature so you can cut off those irritating strings on your sweaters.

Curtains Instead of Doors

I know so many of you can't stand to not have your closet doors closed constantly (my roommate is one of them), but they're so inconvenient! Curtains give your more access to your closet while maintaining your privacy and in my honest opinion, look way cuter than doors.

Organize Your Clothes by Season/Style & Color

Some people don't have enough space in their closet to store year round clothing all at once, I get you. But for those of us who do, I found it makes it way easier to find things by storing them according to style and color. For example, my closet is organized by jackets, winter sweaters/long sleeves, professional and business casual, dresses/skirts, office-appropriate tops, black tops, tank tops, and cardigans.
